Looking back over old papers, this was one of the first letters of rejection from the Office of the Deputy Governor of Montserrat, my Dad's home country, (apparently he "The Deputy Governor" fields such matters after completing an enquiry form). All because my Father never married my mom. At the time, he could not. Therefore, as its stands, the law does not recognize my validity, leading to a gap in me from being fully-embraced able by my culture by descent. Let's hope the government moves swiftly and acts after consultation with the territories, to right this hurtful piece of historical discrimination.
